Steps to Designing Your Memorial Card

1. Choose a Design Style

   

   Consider the overall theme that best reflects the person you are remembering. Options range widely:

   • Religious themes
   • Scenic landscapes
   • Celtic designs
   • Personal themes reflecting hobbies, passions, or favourite things (e.g., sports, gardening, animals like dolphins, butterflies, doves).

   Think carefully about what style feels most appropriate and reflective of their unique life and personality.

2. Add Their Photo

   

   A photograph is often the centrepiece of a memorial card. Select a clear, high-resolution image where possible.

   You can use a couple of images if you have several cherished photos. However, be mindful that using too many photos might require them to be quite small on the card.

   Consider using a black and white photo for a classic, timeless feel if that suits the overall design.

3. Select Verses or Poems

   Some people prefer alternative phrasing like “Sunrise” and “Sunset” instead of “Born” and “Died”. This is a personal choice, and you should select what feels right for you and your family.
